OJJDP Moderates Panel on Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children

NIJ Conference logoOn July 23, at the National Institute of Justice's (NIJ's) annual conference, in Arlington, VA, OJJDP moderated the panel “Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children: Pathways and Prosecution.” Over the past few years, OJJDP and NIJ have supported programs and research addressing this problem and the response of law enforcement and victim service agencies. OJJDP Panel Features Best Practices To Address Gangs
On July 22, at the National Institute of Justice's annual conference, in Arlington, VA, OJJDP moderated a panel featuring best practices in addressing youth gang issues. The panel discussed findings and lessons from gang research projects and the OJJDP publication “Best Practices To Address Community Gang Problems: OJJDP's Comprehensive Gang Model.” More icon

OJJDP Announces Tribal Solicitations

The Tribal Youth Program supports tribal efforts to prevent and control delinquency and improve the juvenile justice system. Eligible applicants are limited to federally recognized tribes.

Mentoring Programs for At-Risk Tribal Youth supports initiatives that assist in the development of community programs to provide mentoring services to underserved populations.
