OJJDP Seeks Tribal Consultation

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) has written tribal leaders to solicit their views on changes in its Tribal Youth Program (TYP) proposal for fiscal year (FY) 2009.

Tribal leaders have also been invited to participate in a consultation on this topic conducted by OJJDP, in conjunction with the Office on Violence Against Women, at the 2008 Annual Tribal Consultation, which will be held in Hollywood, FL, on September 8, 2008.

Written comments have been requested by October 15, 2008.
