OJJDP Reschedules Tribal Consultation

September 18, 2008

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) has written tribal leaders to solicit their views on its Tribal Youth Program (TYP) proposal for fiscal year (FY) 2009.

The letter notes the cancellation of an earlier tribal consultation due to adverse weather conditions and invites tribal leaders to take part in the rescheduled consultation, which will be conducted by OJJDP on October 18, 2008, in conjunction with the National Congress of American Indians' Annual Conference in Phoenix, AZ.

Written comments have been requested by October 31, 2008.
